Megan - I have been a part of Clater Jewelers for 34 years. I started at Clater Jewelers while I was still in high school. This was my first job and this will be my last, and I have dazzled from day one. Mr. Clater persuaded me in 1976 to complete my degree in Watch Making at the Chicago School of Watch Making. I have since purchased the store with Sallie after Mr. Clater retired. We have now owned the store together for 10 years. The store is part of the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) and has been members for over 30 years. We attend approximately 2 jewelry shows all over the United States annually. We also travel to Antwerp, Belgium to purchase the most beautiful diamonds in the entire world! I have graduated from Gemological Institute of America (GIA) with a degree in diamonds and diamond grading. Sallie and I attend educational seminars and keep abreast on the latest jewelry information and trends. I love jewelry however my true passion is customer service.

Sallie - Clater Jewelers has been part of my family for almost 58 years. My father William Clater, Sr., founded Clater Jewelers in 1949. I grew up knowing nothing but jewelry, as well as how important customer service and jewelry quality. I worked for my dad for 24 years before buying the business when he retired. I, along with Megan, have now owned the store for 10 years. We both love traveling to Antwerp, Belgium for our customers and also going to jewelry shows a few times a year. I studied with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and have been a jewelry appraiser for 28 years. I also enjoy jewelry design and in some cases making jewelry. The customers and staff are wonderful, which makes it fun to come to work, and how awesome is it to work with beautiful jewelry every day.

Lynn - I am the store manager and have been at Clater Jewelers for 16 years. While teaching for a time, I decided the jewelry business was for me. I have been in the jewelry business for 25 years. I like putting my years of experience to work for my customers. The favorite part of my job is helping customers choose or design just the perfect piece of jewelry. I also must admit, I love to sell beautiful diamonds. Being part of this team is very rewarding because we work hard to provide our customers with the best possible products and service.

Cheryl - I have worked in jewelry sales at Clater Jewelers for 17 years. I am committed to my job and customer satisfaction is a priority. My profession before working at Claters was teaching. After teaching, my love for jewelry drew me to this business. When customers leave the store, I am confident that they are excited and pleased with their purchases. If I can assist you with your jewelry selection, please come in and see me.

Shannon - I have been with Clater Jewelers for 11 years and am now the Assistant Manager. I have earned the Diamond Certification and I am currently pursuing the Graduate Gemologist Degree (GG) through Gemological Institute of America (GIA). I also have, through Jewelers of America (JA), the Certified Senior Sales Professional certification. I have come to realize that you can always learn new things, not only about jewelry but about the customer and their needs. Being part of Clater Jewelers is a wonderful opportunity for me to express my love for diamonds and gemstones. I have the utmost respect for customers and try very hard to fulfill their dreams. When customers step into Claters, they know that they are stepping into a family tradition. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband, Forrest and the newest addition, our yellow Labrador Retriever, Raider.
